In May of 2018 she earned the Military Relocation Professional (MRP) designation, and in January of 2001 her commitment to serving the public was cemented by earning C-CREC # 1420. A designation created by the Consumer Advocate and Real Estate Trainer, Julie Garton-Good.

Finding a meeting of the minds is surely an important part of getting a transaction agreed to and closed. She earned Certificate No. G1296.001 from Mediate-Tech, Inc in December of 1996. She was a member of the MLS Committee of the Blue Ridge Association of REALTORS at a time when mediation skills were important to have.

In response to a critical moment in the real estate industry, Wendy obtained the training needed to teach Agency Law Courses. In 1995 and 1996 she completed the "Preparing and Presenting Instruction that Works," and "Developing and Facilitating Learning Activities" Professional Development Workshops. Taught by Tom Martin, CRB, CRS, GRI, at the VA Association of REALTORS. She has previously served in numerous capacities for the REALTOR® organization.
